Psychics communicate with the spirit world. This does not mean that what all of them do is the same. There are variations in the abilities of the psychics, and according to these abilities, there are different types of psychics. Broadly they are categorized into physical and mental psychics.

Categories

Physical psychics

These have the ability to channel spirits. Rather, the spirits communicate through the medium using physical acts such as telekinesis (moving objects without touching them) or loud sounds. The best part is that not just the psychic but also the people who are with the medium can sense what is happening. They can hear audible sounds, and see figures. The psychic mediums who can do this usually give private séances since this is not something that should be open to the public.

The mental psychic

These communicate with spirits using their minds rather than using their bodies. This means they can hear, see, or sense the spirit. People who are with the mediums cannot be part of the process. That is, they cannot see or hear the spirit themselves. All they can do is use the psychic to communicate. There are different types of mental mediums.

Clairvoyant

The mediums or psychics who can see the souls are said to be clairvoyant. They not only can see the spirits but also can sometimes see objects, scenes, colors, people, and symbols. You should know that they do not use the natural eye for these visions but rather use the mind’s eye. The mediums or psychics who can sense the spirit’s thoughts or emotions are called clairsentients. Clairsentience does not cover as wide a range as clairvoyance. Still, it is a great ability when you want to communicate with spirits.

Tarot psychics

Tarot fortune-telling does not require a lot of psychic reading skills. In this method, a pack of seventy-eight cards is utilized for reading and deducing certain aspects of an individual, such as love, career, relationships, and health.

Psychic reader

Psychometric reading involves the reading of an object or a possession that is very close to an individual. It says that these objects due to their proximity to the person gain some amount of energy from that individual. Hence, by reading the characteristics of that particular purpose, the expert compares it with the individual’s who was in possession of that object. It is usually utilized for finding details of a missing person.

Clairaudients

The other type of psychics is called clairaudients. They can hear what the spirits say, or hear sounds that are communicated over the spiritual realm. The sense they use is their mind and not the physical ear. While not all psychic mediums have all of these abilities, some may have more than one.
